ZC stroker kits?
Can someone tell me where could I find stroker kits on-line for a ZC?

Re: ZC stroker kits?
I don't think so. The rod/stroke ratio isn't all that great for the ZC, so I wouldn't imagine there would be much interest in a stroker kit.

Re: ZC stroker kits?
well i wouldn't say a stroker kit is going to make it worse depending on what the stroker kit comes with. if you change the crank and the rods and pistons you rod stroke ratio could be the same. maybe better thats from my understanding. hence why alot of drag racers build stroker motors. my dad had a 351c custom 1700 crank, aluminum rods, pistons and turned 7500 rpms and ran 10.30s in the 1/4 so i kinda have to disagree with it making it worse. if i knew the math and how to figure out all that id tell you but i cant confirm anything right now.

Re: ZC stroker kits?
On some engines, you can do what you want to, but on ours, the bore diameter simply will not allow you to run much larger than stock stroke because the rods will smack the side of cylinders towards the bottom. There are stroker kits for B-series engines because the extra 5mm diameter allows the rods to clear the sides of the cylinder.

Re: ZC stroker kits?
www.dh-racing.com offers a stroker kit for the zc, but im kinda weary of his work. ZC's have an impressive amount of stroke already..I wouldnt touch it.

Re: ZC stroker kits?
ZC's are mostly stroked out from the factory compared to most engines.

i HIGHLY doubt you can find it, and its not a stroker, its just bored out.
remeber all that is also for the 1g CRX/3g civics. so around 20 year old stuff.
